About these terms

itero is a trip planner built and run by one person, Freddy Khant. These terms cover your use of itero at itero.world. By using it, you agree to them. The privacy policy explains what happens to your data.

02

An invite-only beta, provided as is

itero is in an invite-only beta. It’s provided as is, with no promise that it will always be available or work correctly. Features can change or disappear, and data can be lost. Keep your own copy of anything you can’t afford to lose, like booking confirmations.

Place names, addresses, photos and descriptions come from Google Places and may be wrong or out of date. Check the details before you rely on them.

03

Your account

You sign in with Google or with a code sent to your email. Anyone who can get into that email or Google account can get into your itero account, so keep them secure. Your invite is for you. Don’t share your account.

04

Acceptable use

When you use itero, don’t:

  • try to access another person’s account, or trips they haven’t shared with you.
  • scrape itero, or use bots or scripts to pull data from it.
  • try to get around rate limits, the waitlist, or any other restriction.
  • overload or attack the service, or use it to run up costs on the services it depends on.
  • upload or share anything unlawful, or anything you don’t have the right to use, such as someone else’s photos.
  • use itero, or a shared trip link, to harass anyone.

05

Your content

Your trips and the images you upload are yours. You give me permission to store and display them only as far as needed to run itero: showing them to you, passing them to the services listed in the privacy policy, and, when you turn on sharing for a trip, showing that trip to anyone with its link. That permission lasts until the content is deleted from itero.

You’re responsible for what you put in a trip, especially one you share.

06

Suspension and ending the service

I may suspend or delete an account that breaks these terms or puts itero or its users at risk. I may also change itero, or shut it down, at any time.

You can stop using itero whenever you like and delete your account in Settings, which also deletes your trips. The privacy policy has the details.

07

Limitation of liability

itero is a planning tool, not a booking or travel service. As far as the law allows, I give no warranties about it, and I’m not liable for any loss that comes from using it or from not being able to use it. That includes missed bookings, travel plans that go wrong, lost data and any indirect loss.

Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under laws that can’t be excluded by agreement.

08

Changes and contact

If these terms change, I’ll update this page and the date at the top. Using itero after that means you accept the new version.
